Mission of the “Khesht-e Sevom” Festival
The mission of the “Khesht-e Sevom” Festival is to identify, collect, evaluate, and introduce the finest works and experiences related to the “Third Sacred Defense” both domestically and internationally.
The festival is obligated to provide a competitive and fair platform for the presentation of individual and group creative works across 31 specialized categories, in collaboration with academic, cultural, military, and media institutions.
Among its other missions is the documentation and dissemination of these experiences in the form of books, films, and a digital archive in Persian, English, and Arabic.
The festival also aims to facilitate knowledge and experience exchange by inviting foreign guests—particularly from aligned and sanctioned countries—thereby contributing to public diplomacy.
Ultimately, the festival seeks to establish an “annual appreciation calendar” to honor the defenders of the Third Sacred Defense.
